Karen is on the move!
Welcome to my travelblog!
My name is Karen Evers, known as Kary. For the ones that don't know me. I'm originally from Curacao and came to Holland for my studies. Since last year I developed this intrest for travelling, since then I started my journey towards exploring the world.
From now on my trips are going to be a little bit different than before. I'm more driven by cultures, people, I want to feel and experience the everyday life, the real thing. So don't forget to check out my blogs and feel free to leave comments or ask questions......

Paris est des villes les plus magnifiques qui l'Europe a pu connaître. La ville de l'amour, la ville du bon vin et la ville où tu peux jouir interminablement. La ville luxueuse qui tu fais tout sentir..
Soon as I arrived at the airport Charles de Gaulle with my friend Eurydice, I felt good. I was finally in France. We bought our travelticket for the weekend and hit the subway. At Gare du Nord we catched another metro to Place du Republique where we stayed. Once there we were trying to find our low budget Hotel Victoria. It was quiet an experience. People were driving like crazy around the square. But we managed to somehow get ot the other side of the street where we finally spotted our Hotel. We left our stuff there and went to get something to eat.
Sitting there and thinking what to do... we saw the L'open Tour busses passing by. So that was an option, the only problem was that we werent fast enough to get the phone number that was written on the bus. So we sat and wait for another one and than it stopped at the bus stop. We ran to the bus and bought the tickets and boarded immediately. Like that we started our journey dans ....Ile de France!
I couldn't believe my eyes, Paris is so beautiful and just like that I fell in love! Even a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower made me happy....that was what I was looking forward to see. That is what everybody wants to see on their first trip to Paris.
By L'open Tour bus we went to the main touristic areas. We visited places like Notre Dam, Louvre, Eiffel Tower and a whole lot of other places. Louvre was very intriguing. Especially when I saw the Mona Lisa after the Da Vinci Tour. I could feel every single hair on my body. Not because od the Da Vinci code or anything, but I do believe there is something mysterious about it. To bad Leonardo isn't here anymore.
Waiting in line at the Eiffel Tour the closed the third flour which of course made me pissed cause I didn't come all the way to Paris without going to the top. Than we stood there and we thought, lets not be mad. We should use the secret, let the universe serve us.. And in a heart beat it said: Third floor open....YES!!! The view up there was incredible...Check out the pics!!
