I flew to Cancun on 28th of February. When I arrived my friend Marye was already waiting for me outside. Waiting with a big smile....wearing her shorts and sleeveless shirts....The weather was sooo GOOD...compared to Amsterdam.

We jumped in Davids explorer and headed towards the tourist zone. On my way to Villas Marlin where we stayed I saw Wet n Wild. Followed by a beautiful clear blue sea. I couldn't wait to feel the white sand between my toes.

Immediately after arriving at Villas Marlin I went to the beach which is less than 2 minutes walking from our condo. Too bad it was already 17:30 but I was right on time to see the sun set. I was happy to be there and didn't want to spent another minute inside. So we went to eat Sushi. We ordered or own sushi idea with a lot of philedelphia cream cheese. I must admit they did their best to please us. Yes we had some crazy sushi ideas.

When we finished we started walking back to our appartment...on the way we passed by a couple of bars. So we decided to have desert. So we stopped at Carlos 'n Charlies...we ordered cheesecake..yummy. The crew was very nice, almost everything was on the house. We danced and after a hour or three we returned to the apartment. I haven't slept for more than 24 hours. So it was time to  sleep.

The next day we woke up and went to the pool, ordered a fresh shrimps ceaser salad. Lay in the sun the whole afternoon before we went to La Isla shopping mall. After the mall we went with David to Senor Frogs...we had a hell of a time there. Dancing, drinking and enjoying the cancun nightlife. Si mucho tequila. It made us laugh about the word shrimpies all night. hehehe
